Our Intro to a Bohemian Bride

February 17, 2017

Spring is just around the corner and lovely flowers will be in bloom soon! Those things together make me think of a blushing bride. I can't say I'm that bride since I've been married for almost 11 years now, but I was once and My husband and I planned our entire wedding when I was 6 months pregnant...lets just say I was little exhausted during the planning process. Don't get me wrong I loved every moment planning and embarking on DIY projects before Pinterest ever existed. We were on a budget and I'm a crafter so I felt the need to make everything by hand. We made our own invitations, programs, centerpieces and favors. We used disposable cameras at each table so nothing is in a digital form. That reminds me...I should scan all my wedding photos for safe keeping!

Weddings and brides have evolved and transformed since I was a bride and creativity is at the center of every ceremony, big and small. One wedding theme I can't get enough of is the Bohemian Bride or the Woodland Bride theme. I think about being outdoors, in nature, surrounded by rich colors of bold greens, burgundys, plums and gold. I can just picture what my wedding would have been like if Pinterest was around...

One thing I can say I'm thankful for, is the opportunity I had to style a few mock wedding and engagement photoshoots when my mom and I had a wedding prop rental business. We were able to style a 50's engagement shoot, classic 20's wedding shoot and of course my fave Bohemian and Woodland Bride theme. We realized that we loved styling more than the rental aspect of our business. So, needless to say we no longer rent out furniture and we buy items we love and now we create a collection that we can be proud of...visit HerrTribe on Instagram to see our collection and visit our Bohemian Bride Board on Pinterest to view our favorite weddings.

Here  are some of the moments we captured of a Woodland Bohemian Bride. Enjoy!
